Join free regular guided walks to help you experience the Gardens. Walks are available on 1st and 3rd Sunday and 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month starting at the Friends Centre.
The theme for today’s walk is ‘What’s in a name’ a look at regional plants through their plant names. A 90 minute walk that will start with some basic taxonomy, then a chance to discover plants and the people, places and features whose names they commemorate.
The theme of the walk changes monthly so check at the Friend’s Centre for the program. The full program until November is attached.
Gareth conducts his Native bee walk on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month and Josephine has her Butterfly walk on the 1st Tuesday of each month.
