’Flowers by Friends’ is the Friends of Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens’ own floral design initiative. Using only Australian flora, our volunteers provide beautiful and unique arrangements, posies and bunches for sale, as well as a range of items for special events, such as conferences, birthday celebrations, weddings and dinners.
We source the best available native flora from a wide range of growers, to showcase the interesting and diverse character of Australia’s stunning flora. As well, we plant and experiment with a wide variety of species to identify flowers and foliage which can be used successfully as cut flora, and which are suitable to grow in SEQ gardens.
Orders are most welcome and our volunteers are happy to discuss any special requirements or ideas and quotations for events. Our prices are extremely competitive, with all proceeds supporting the Friends’ work and development of the Botanic Gardens.
